Well I been hearing from my bf that people don't believe that NSX are exotic. Well the definition of exotic is intriguingly unusual or different; excitingly strange. For those with pockets deep enough to entertain such notions, an exotic like the NSX offers much. Its price dictates that it is rarely seen, and the styling assures that those who do see it, tend to stare. It is hand-built and beautifully finished. And, the exceptional balance and performance of the mid-engine two seater rivals the elites in autodom. Most surprisingly, it does all this with the unpretentious dependability of the best Japanese daily drivers. That last item affords the premium sports car buyer one last luxury. The luxury of not having to finance a new wing of somebody's repair shop, for the privilege of owning an exotic.
The goal of the NSX was a balance of power, weight, handling, and driver-friendliness that would sacrifice none of these elements in favor of the others. It would be a genuine exotic, fast in corners, rain or shine. But a livable exotic, as refined as a luxury coupe.
